BRIDGE FOR BRAIN RESEARCH CHALLENGE

THURSDAY 1 MAY 2014 at 12.30pm
The Club will be holding a heat of this Australia wide fund raising event to support Alzheimer's disease research at NeuRa (Neuroscience research Australia. Normal table money will apply and players are requested to make a gold coin donation. The Club will match donations up to a maximum of $200. Results will be scored across Australia and red points allocated by the organisers.
Thursday morning players are asked to donate but will not be part of the challenge.

Learn to play Bridge

Beginners Lessons A series of 8 lessons for beginner starts on Wednesday evening 7th May at 7.30- 9.30 pm and also on Thursday morning 8th May at 9.45- 11.45am. Ring Fiske Warren on 94024507. to make a booking. The cost is $100 for the 8 lessons. No need to bring a partner!

Gala Bridge Open Day Sunday 16th March 1.00pm

The Gala Bridge Open Day is for the community to discover more about this marvellous game of bridge. Everyone is welcome. There will be a range of bridge activities in which they can participate. Doors open at 1.00pm . Coffee/tea will be available. Regular and novice bridge games will start at 1.30 pm There will also be a social game for people who come during the afternoon tojoin in to play a hand or two with assistance from an experienced player. A bridge teacher will be available to talk about learning to play. Afternoon tea will be at 3.00 pm.
